I'd slice off the backside, if you crush it it might want to spring back.

ok, cutting will probably fit better anyway. Tried putting pictures, but the pics are too big to load. Another issue I would have with fender skirts is how far out the wheel is. If I put a piece straight across, the tire will rub. I'm thinking of a strip of aluminum across the wheel well then attach the coroplast to it. Since the car is only 2 years old and I owe too much on it, I thought about betting a front bumper cover from a junkyard to modify the front. The body design started in '08, so it shouldn't be hard to find.

C.A.B. design

In the spirit of not messing up your beautiful new car,you might experiment with cardboard mockups attached with 3M blue painter's tape.
With the instant MPG display, you'd know pretty quick what was working.
Mythbusters got their Dodge from 32,to 44.5 mpg while drafting a truck at 2-feet distance, equivalent to a 78% drag reduction,so it suggests that a MOPAR does react favorably to streamlining.

2 feet?!?!?!? That's crazy! Guess I'm too safe of a driver to try that. I'm curious how well and how long the 3m tape will hold too. I thought about using it to cover gaps around headlight and hood.

That's why they say "Don't try this at home. We're what you call ...professionals". Drafting trucks just gets road rash all over the front of your car.

That strip of aluminum you mention could be a piece of tubing with the ends flattened.

I've got some flat aluminum. I gonna try Friday. We'll see how it goes.

The example was just to illustrate the savings potential from drag reduction.
Here's there drag table from the experiment, shared by member jalmir, which I added a delta-Cd table to

If the Mythbusters car had Cd 0.35 for instance,at 2-feet clearance,it's drag would be the equivalent of Cd 0.077.
And the Chrysler engine reacted favorably.
If one were to momentarily approach an 18-wheeler and check the instant MPG readout, they'd know instantly, the absolute MPG maximum possible from streamlining.
Then one could act accordingly.

3M blue tape lifespan

The tape will last for years, although you might want to consider a color-matched tape of a different type for long duty service.
