13 inch LRR tire

I am looking for the best LRR tire to fit my 13 inch wheels. I would love to have some insight wheels but I can't find any, and I need tires immediately. I have 15 inch imola wheels but I believe my 13 stockers are more aerodynamic.

If anyone has any idea where I can find some 13 inch LRR tires that would be great. Thank you.

tirerack.com is the place to look. I have 13" wheels and have seen a couple 13" LRR tires on that site. I think Kumho and Michelin were the brands. Start there.

That is a tough fit. With a revs/mile of 915 or so you don't have a lot of 15" choices either.

The other option is to find a cheap high mileage tire which somewhat helps make up for the lack of true LRR ratings. The Kumho Solus KR21 with a tread wear warranty of 85,000 miles and only cost $56/ea. is an option.

I guess it is a tough decesion. I'm not finding any 13" LRR tires anywhere.

I'm really looking at the Michelin Energy Savers.

I'm not sure if I should go with 15" tires and mini wheel combo. I'd like to go with a more aerodynamic wheel.

I'd like to go with the stock 13" crx wheel since I could thinner tires for it. Although the gear ratio with going with the 15" wheel would probably be better than having a 20mm thinner tire.

Another influence was I could sell the imola wheels to pay for the tires.

I'll post pictures of both wheels. I'd like to know some opinions on which wheel would be more aerodynamic. Both pictures have been taken from what I could find on the internet. I cannot decide if one is far more substantially more aerodynamic than the other.Thank you.

tl;dr Which wheel has better aerodynamics?

I just bought a set of Kumho Eco Solus 175/70R13 from TireBuyer.com. TireRack said they're discontinued.

Are the 13" steel rims cause those 15" aluminum rims may be overall lighter combo which could negate any aerodynamic gains/loss.

Yes the crx wheels are steel. The imola wheels weigh 12 lbs a piece.
