I see what you're saying. I need to look closer, that may be the answer. Thanks

Frame Space

Looks like there is enough space to put another hybrid battery and then use the rear axle to do extra regen so you can have a double pack, double capacity, double ev mode, and double the regenerative braking, although, if done as thought of, put a kill switch for auxiliary regen!

Yes. I plan on daily driving this Frankenstein. I was thinking of making a large drawer that would slide out between the frame rails. I'll have to look at the Ridgeline storage system.

Could you recover any more energy than the Prius drivetrain can already?

If you decide to go AWD, there is a candidate drivetrain that is part of the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive technology.

Steering

I'm still amazed at how the steering shaft lined up with the Prius.

Shift cable

I had to drill a hole for the shift cable. Because I flipped he shifter mount it lined up perfectly.

You can also see the hole I drilled for the column.

Strut clearance

I currently have a board between the fender and strut. I have to build internal mounts to support the front clip.

It actually sounds like a good idea. Maybe use it as a toolbox?

I am using a 4-bar linkage on the Firebrid to connect the Firebird brake pedal to the Prius v pedal.
