Black plugs indicates the cylinder is running rich. This will actually make you run a bit cooler.

What makes you think its running hot?

I was on the highway, got off and I was greeted with heat on my legs. A higher rev (i adjusted the revs so ik its not that, and a loss of power. Not to mention the crank vent was dripping oil out (which i have driven on the highway before longer even and never had oil come out of the crank vent). P.S my crank case vent is on the valve cover if that matters. I do believe my oil was just spent, because i didnt realize the recommended interval is every 600 miles
