1985 HONDA CIVIC CRX for $2500
Hello -
NOTE: I have NO affilation with this used car dealer. It's just in my neighborhood, so I like to see what it's selling every now and then.
I like to troll in autotrader.com, and sometimes I find cars I think Ecomodders might like. Here's one that brings back memories :

I used to want this car sooooo bad!!!! Look at all that wonderful utilitarian NO!
From what I can tell, the MPG is new EPA. The old EPA numbers were 49 city/54 highway/51 combined MPG.

Oh wow. Light weight goodness.
I looked over a rusty one of these ~5 years ago. But I haven't seen one that vintage here in the rust belt since then.

that is not an HF is it? really? it has a passenger mirror (not common on the HF) and honda hub caps (not correct either! the HF had narrow light weight steel wheels without hub caps) a few other things about that car make it not look like an HF... but it does have the HF air intake... all aluminum instead of black painted steel

I am "trusting" the MPG claims on the website. Maybe I will go and take a look at it in order to tell for sure. Can anyone tell by looking at the engine? :
What about the rear? :
Where did the HF symbol go on 1st gens?

It is an HF, has a tac, shift light, half size radiator, aluminum air intake, light weight steering wheel, front lower lip.
the HF emblem goes under the tail light lens on the right side.

Ok, there are some marks there, so maybe it fell off/was stolen.
