1986 Chevy sprint 2 door stick!!

Just made it through smog!! Rebuilt everything. Let the hypermiling begin!!
First run out 42.5 mpg verified through google earth and my odometer. Lights on heater on through city and hwy. not trying anything on hypermiling yet just happy to be getting over 20mpg like my last v-8 stick shift car. I can't wait to see how far this thing will go on a tank of gas!! Thank you ecomodder for the great tips and mods so I can try and reach my goal of 100mpg.

We had 1987 Sprint 2 door while I was in my youth... it got 52.4mpgUS (4.48L/100km) a few times with no hypermiling tricks, so you have great potential.

That's very clean. I'm barely a year older than that car, and it looks like it has less miles than I do.

Wow, I'd never even heard of a Chevy Sprint before. Looks a little like a Metro.

That engine is so tiny! Looking forward to seeing what you can do with it.
