1993 Geo Metro XFi
I have a 1993 XFi I would like to sell. Has aftermarket A/C but compressor is not currently installed (I will include it as well as a couple of cans of R12). Green with a blue hood. Completely rust free AZ car. Pretty straight but it has some clear coat fading/blistering here and there. Interior is nice but a few small tears in the headliner. New since I bought it:
- Radiator and hoses
- A/C condensor
- Water Pump
- Clutch
- Fuel pump
- Battery
- Pass side halfshaft
- Gauge cluster with factory tach
- Vacuum gauge
- MPGuino
Car has about 170,000 miles on it and runs great. Passes AZ emissions with no problem. Gets a consistent 50mpg around town. Needs right rear alignment, tire wearing on the inside (probably why only 50mpg!). Auto door lock in drivers door staying on, could simply be disconnected.
Shoot me a PM if you're seriously interested and I can send you more info / pics. I'm willing to take a loss on this car, but I'm not intersted in talking to anybody who thinks they're going to buy a $500 XFi. Car is located in Phx area. I can pick you up at the airport.

I know a lot of people who have bought an XFi for 500 dollars, just saying.

that car could easily fetch 2000 because its an xfi. I remember 2 years ago when one like that would be 4000. That car is an investment, itll be worth alot here soon.

It could be worth 1 million if someone wanted to pay that.

yeah price is only determined by the condition of the car.
if someone was going to spend 2grand+ on a xfi.
why not buy a 500$lsi or base model
and spend 500$ on a eco head form mike
im in SD cali , and looking for a car atm.
what price are you looking for?

because if someone is non technical, thats the best you can buy mileage wise. Not to mention r12 is like gold. My dad was lucky enough to get 18 pounds of it for 100 bucks. His 928's had the coldest a/c around lol.

meh ,
tbh it all how you drive.
you can make a base model get same millage as someone in a XFI
i just hate how people overprice metros
specially when the only things that differ in XFI are , pistons , camshaft , and tranny. (+no ac)(and weight) i think

I'm honestly not aware that that's even possible... The XFi is pretty fool-proof when it comes to MPG. You don't really have a choice but to get good mileage, unless you really flog the motor until it's not running correctly.
I mean, I've physically seen a kid get 18 MPG in a CRX HF for an entire tank (repeatedly), but I've never seen less than 45 in a well-cared for XFi.
Besides, if you don't like the price, why bother posting to complain about it? It's a waste of server space, and is of no benefit to anyone.
The cool thing about being the guy selling the car - You can put whatever price tag on it you want. If noone likes the price, noone is going to buy it. Period.
