2008 EPA numbers for 2002 f150

I am having trouble finding numbers for the EPA MPG on my vehicle. According to their website, a 2002 f150 5.4, 2 wheel drive gets 13 city and 18 highway. The problem is they don't differenitiate between a supercrew (full size four door) and a standard cab 2 door. The four door is way heavier and can't get the same MPG ratings can they?

Any help is appreciated. I couldn't find anything when I googled it.

Is the Super Crew heavy enough to be an EPA medium duty vehicle, exempt from EPA ratings?

Your next step may be to write to Ford.

My 01 dodge crewcab v8 5.2 is the same way, it and its 2 door cousin are both rated at 20mpg.

Although I have to say now that I ran a small amount of veggie oil through one tank to plug my intake leak I seem to be getting in that region, sometimes a little better.

Cheers
Ryan

Here is the info that I found 2002 Ford F-150 SuperCrew Specs - CarsDirect
When I sold Fords in 2005 all F150s and most F250s had EPA ratings on them, the only ones that were exempt were some of the dullies and then the F350s and up were exempt from the ratings.

I don't think it's exempt. After looking some more, I think they just rate it the same as the 2 door. 2002 standard is 13 city so converted to 2008 standard maybe 11 city is more appropriate? Either way I'm getting 14 in the city and 18 highway.
