2016 Cd 0.355 Focus RS
OOPS! should read Cd 0.355,not 0.255 (I wish we could edit titles!)
Ford gave their computers less Thalidomide and excreted the new Cd 0.355 FOCUS RS,which is less deformed than the 2015 Cd 0.387 FOCUS RS.

Well, you might compromise a little cd for down force when you're topping out at over 160 mph in it.

I wish that market would vanish.

A funny story about how Ford made the intercooler too big, then covered it with a blanking plate from a van. I guess it helps Cd in a small way.

Local media are reporting 25.8l/100km for the new RS. That's 9.1 MPG. Even considering that they were thrashing it (but included highway cruising), there's a limit to how fast you can go on a public road, so that's a truly dreadful figure.
On a closed circuit it was actually pretty economical at 43l/100km or 5.5MPG.

That's only truly dreadful driving. Everybody should understand, that this car is going to consume half of that or less when driven normally.
0,355 is not that bad factor for a car like Focus RS. A powerful hatchback will never be aerodynamically the most efficient car. Mercedes has introduced lately many aerodynamically efficient models and worked hard in this area. According to Mercedes their A45 AMG has a Cd value of 0,34. Not that much different from Focus.
