I just got my lap times from the org and averaged them out. Over the course of 30 laps I averaged 3:17.050 per lap. If the track is 2.45 miles per lap and we have to average 45 MPH then the ideal lap time would be 3:16. So I was close.

In past years, UltArc ran his modded V6 black Mustang in that class, and won. But he wasn't there this year.

That's pretty small for a six. But probably the smoothest production 1.8 L engine available anywhere.

Thanks for the reminder - I need to ask Bob for my sheet.

I averaged our lap times from a log sheet my brother Steve kept. 3 min 14.8 seconds. I believe not one lap was good enough to score a point But it's not as precise as the data from the transponder. Those times were clicked manually on a digital stopwatch each time we crossed the finish line.

Cool idea.
We'd love to have you there next year! The MX-3's are pretty uncommon by now, with any engine. Finding one specifically to run it in the GGP would be a challenge - but since you seem to have one, it would be great to see you run it at Watkins Glen.

Oh, wait... I see you're a bit far away. Sweden. Your MX-3 doesn't fly, does it?
