2024 Ferrari Purosangue SUV aerodynamics

The recent interest in BMW's 'air-curtain' technology as a component of an aero-modding tool for some members had my aero 'radar' on high gain when MOTOR TREND's recent Ferrari article came to my mailbox.
Both 'lift' and 'drag' were of concern, as this SUV will likely see the unlimited-speed portions which survive on the Autobahn.
How Ferrari handles the ram-air inlet ducting is novel, as well as how the airflow exits the wheelhouses, both front and rear.
It's worth a look.https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/corpor...like-any-other

The aerobridge is back.

That and the 'nolders' on the rear of the wheelwells are the only things the single picture shows.

MOTOR TREND has a number of views. A look at every available image would be prudent for anyone embarking on an air curtain project.
Short of $33 SAE Papers, I've no knowledge of any resources which actually explained the mechanism for an air curtains efficacy.
One would presume that there is a volumetric, velocity, and geometric component to a successful jet, and it's never been defined, to my knowledge.
It is exactly the kind of feature best 'executed' within CFD, and then verified in a tunnel.

That appears to one rather sophisticated SUV, and will require by me another read to soak it all in.
Thanks.
