I am nearly 100% sure that my controller will not work in a 2019 Rav4. I know it does not work on the 3rd gen Prius even sadly. It was developed for the 2nd gen and that is all it works on as far as I know. Its basically a CAN signal interceptor, so any changes to the CAN signals will make it function improperly. One would have to be developed specifically for the Rav4.

My only caveat is that I do not want to damage my brand new pack in any way or mess with the warranty if it does get damaged.
You just won't give up, will you...

Over the weekend I got an update on the computer. The builder has had it done for a while, but just finished testing it in his own Prius and says it works great. Now I get to wait for shipping from Belgium.

Nope 😁 Like a dog with a bone, I am determined to make it work one way or another. It's my game after all. I like doing what I'm told can't be done. Been a theme with my life. Told I wouldn't survive brain tumors as a kid, wouldn't travel the world, etc. Did it. Figuring this out can be done. 😉
