Ethanol mixes of 25% to 35% seems to increase fuel economy in certian vehicles.
...but, those "improvements" are actually predicated upon the ECM's ability to first detect, then compensate for, the changes in ethanol content in the gasoline. Some ECM's handle this process using Knock Retard (KR) others do it differently. It comes down to the "smartness" of the engine electronics, sensors and computer software.

I have used it for years, it works well, one way to prove it is to get the best fuel you can, no more than 1 ounce per 10 gallons. Less is more. To prove it use it in 2 tanks, then stop, your mileage is cut in half, happened to me. I also use xylene and toulene if you can find it, highest quality possible. Yes you can mix them, but small amounts are better, the combination of three cannot exceed 25% of the tanks capacity. So if you have 10 gallons 25% of that is 2.5 gallons. This is where I dont agree, that is too much. Just 1 ounce of this, one to two ounces of the other, thats it. It is cheap enough to try, the trick is you use it in one tank you wont see anything, two to three tanks it will appear.

The only thing I believe with acetone is that it does a good job at cleaning injectors.... and my girlfriends fingernails... and that's as much kool-aid as I'm drinking!

Again - red flags: Stop and "your mileage is cut in HALF"?!?!?!?!

Please!

So, if I'm getting 25 MPG, then "use it in 2 tanks", what will I get? 30, maybe? Then I stop & it's "cut in half"? What, 15? Come on!!!! Just doesn't make sense.....

At the very least, this HAS to be an extreme exaggeration - again, not a very effective way of getting people to take you seriously.
