$3900 New Smart EV Huh?
This place advertises $3900 new smart EVs and $3900 wheego LIFES, anyone in chicago willing to find out how he gets to this price?

I am thinking it isn't fully legit but given the local, state and fed tax break might be possible but only if you live there.
Anyone willing to buy the car cheap, hold for a year and I will buy it, get a free year on me ?

Hm. The picture on that site shows a Wheego Life, not a Smart Fortwo like it shows in the data.
But I bet you can't get a Wheego for that money either.
Wheego was in dire straits but seems to be selling cars till now. Delivering too?
Or is this too good to be true?

That's gotta be a typo. $13,900, not $3,900. They've marked a bunch of stuff down and somebody got busy, missed a keystroke.

Interesting. I agree, it's likely a typo, but that's the first time I've ever heard of the Wheego.

I absolutely need to work on the shed, but I just watched this review of the Wheego Life, which sold for $36,000--using a terrible Chinese body, which was a superficial knock-off of a smrtcr: It is crazy to think that at one point you could buy a Tesla for what poor unfortunate souls paid for this garbage.

I just looked at the number, not the ten years of inflation.
IIRC the Evergreen series FUV went for $28K in 2018.
