Fill-up!
64 MPG = 3.7 L/100 km, over 798 km = 496 miles.
Not bad for a tank that spanned 3 months, including some cool/cold weather motoring back in March/April.

Did you get a chance to do this yet? Interested in the results...

I should have added: I'll be doing the RE92 vs Enasave comparison with the MPGiata. And I don't usually put it on the road until later in the summer.

More aero
Coro skirts, clear panel to join the skirts to the Kammback, aluminum tape to smooth the front alloy wheels.
Untested. Ain't got time for that.

July update: 68 mpg
Filled the tank a week or so...
Went 824 km = 512 miles on 28.4 L = 7.5 gal (US).
68 MPG US = 3.5 L/100 km
About half of that distance was with the coroplast skirts & clear tail light panels. As I said, I have not tested it. I also didn't test it when I did something very similar on the 2008 Honda Flipski Fit, but it also returned its best ever segments by a couple of MPG afterwards:

If think the next will be installing the rocker panel skirts that I had on Mirage #1...
From: Thread: I just bought Canada's cheapest 3-cylinder Mitsubishi Mirage. EcoMods now in progress...

Impressive progress at #35. Once you add the side skirts, what's left?
I'm seeing a lot of Morelli.
From aerohead's 2015 post. Which would suggest annular fan wheels that pressurize the tire's wake. And a mesh screen across the box cavity.
I could see circularizing the bottom difusser area, with flared skegs behind the rear tires.

HA!
I've looked at that photo multiple times and *never* noticed the screen.
Ultimately, this car will get a hitch-mounted removable tail. I've got a hitch receiver for it (not yet installed). Not this year though.

I'm working on a front splitter with air curtains. Right now I'm hung up on something that's easy to clean.
Walking around while my bike is broken, I passed a Hyundai Veloster. It looked like something else with a slant chop. Maybe an interesting starting point.
I know aerohead 'cancel culutered' Hyundai over one wide-body concept, but still....

freebeard: I have an old Bug photo I'm going to post tomorrow. I immediately thought of you when I saw it (if you have a similar photo in your archives, I'll be very surprised). It's somewhat off-topic, yet also very on-topic at the same time. You'll see what I mean...
