Welcome to the forum, TaylorL!

Lots of Civic love here, and lots of history of mods.

Even I had an '07 Civic for a while, and averaged 48 MPG US (with higher trips/segments). And that was in mostly winter use!

(From: 15 mods = 15% MPG improvement: A-B test, 2007 Honda Civic 1.8L, 5-speed )

No boat tail on that one (though I did build/test a tail just for fun).

Another option: get a used one?

Or wait for our annual forum anniversary contest - we'll be giving away a couple of ScanGauges shortly to celebrate our 12th birthday. And every year the odds of winning go up (sadly, because the number of active members declines)!

I read a write up MetroMPG did about rolling resistance with higher tire pressures. ...pressures beyond the max sidewall of 44 offered very minimal returns.

This thread: Experiment: coast down distances (rolling resistance) @ various tire pressures

Sorry for waking up this old thread, but how did you build your air dam and grille? I am starting an 02 Civic Coupe 5spd eco build, and was just going to do the ugly cardboard behind the grille method, but this looks much sharper.

Also, I like the moon caps!
