Your ranger project is inspiring looks like we're both shooting for the 50 mpg avg on one tank. Im quite confident it will happen on both ends. Do you have any other mods planned?

Gearing, wheels/tires, rear wheels skirts, more belly pan, and some sort of aerocap/boat tail.

Quite the laundry list of stuff to do. Have you thought about replacing your driveshaft with an aluminum one? There has got to be a direct swap in size ou there somewhere.

it has crossed my mind but not a priority, drive shaft weight likely wont offer a positive ROI.

I wish they had made the CVT an option for the cruze. I read that they had thought about making it possible for the 2013 model year but decided to sit on it...
