Even "my" threads meander off, sometimes relevant, sometimes interesting, sometimes not. Guess that means "my" (or anyone's) threads are actually the forum's threads, no matter how I may feel about it. This is where the conversation is, so this is where the conversation is.

But you know the forum's threads are really the traveling electrons' threads. So really, we only have the subatomic particles to thank. This is where the conversation is, even if the conversation may pop in and out of existence.

So which brand gas is the best down south? The past two tanks have only netted me a bit over 62mpg !! I will go back to flash foods gas ( who makes their gas? ) I have been around 65-67 mpg with their gas. The last tank was from racetrack and I was not impressed to say the least... I am running a tank of chevron 89 octane this tank. Thoughts ??

Okay well finished up the tank of mid grade chevron (89) . XFI cam, timing set at around 6 deg adv.. The cam has improved mileage around 3 mpg.. Which gas is better? Chevron or shell? I am thinking of advancing the timing to around 9-10 and run premium (93 octane) .. Just curious if my CPM would stay around .06 ..... What do you guys think?

I don't know which has is better I'm just amazed at your awesome mpg average. Your getting like 20 more mpg than my Prius!

I'm on the lookout for a nice base model metro and I'll be looking to follow your and firefly's recipe for awesome mileage!

Have you ever tried any of the fuel treatments or octane boosters? I need to do a search on here and see if anyone has had any luck with them.

Seems to be Chevron

The general consensus here is that gas additives are a waste of money.
