91 geo metro mpguino installation

Just purchased a 91 geo metro base model over the weekend and wanted to see about installing the mpguino. I found one forum post talking about the settings, but I didn't see anything about how to actually install it. Should I just get the repair manual for the car and figure out where the wires I need to hook into are, or has anyone written up specific instructions for installation in this car. As a side question, what is the best repair manual for this car? I remember reading somewhere about the haynes not being very accurate. Thanks
