Well I ordered this part https://amzn.to/2RFhMYK we'll see if it has lza09 etched into it. Let's hope!

I'll def check the egr valve and the pcv valve. I've read that the pcv valve in the VX isn't a valve at all, but just an open pathway and there is no replacement part made at this time. Is this true?

According to Majestic and Hondapartscheap the VX is same part# as the LX, DX, and EX. Part # 17130-PM6-003. The CX isn't listed for some reason.

Keep us posted what the sensor has on it when you get it. I will post a link to a factory sensor on majestic which also has a diagram of the manifold/ converter

Honda Automotive Parts

As for the PVC valve I dont think you can buy one that's open you have to buy one that has the guts in it and cut it open and remove them that's what I had to do and it worked perfectly. Very easy to do with a hack saw blade

Received the O2 sensor today, it was LZA09. Installed and works great. 95% of all hesitation is gone now. I think there is a small hiccup when pressing the throttle down while the car is idling, but other than that, it drives smooooth now and def has more solid torque under load which is pretty noticeable at low RPM.

I believe oxygensensor.net has all of the correct part #'s for this sensor across all brands. It is what I used to determine the right sensor. Everyone says the Bosch sensor are cheaper, but the Bosch part numbers listed here are 300-500 dollars.

NTK 24300

5 Wire Wideband Oxygen Sensor
NTK L2H2
Replaces the Original 5 Wire L1H1
NTK # LZA-09-E1
NTK Sensor for FAST Classic ECU
Fast # 307000
Honda # 36531-P07-003
36531-P2M-A01
36531-P2M-A02
Motec # 57003
Bosch # 13246
Bosch # 13025

Seems to me if any sensor is < 200 bucks, it was probably the wrong one.

Oh and I should add, the amazon link I posted above is not the same vendor. The sensor I bought came directly from Amazon but it was the last one in stock...so now that part number is pointing at a marketplace vendor selling the same thing. Just an FYI.

Oh and I found this site that had a interesting list of applications for this sensor. I wonder if one could splice in a connection and also use a compatible AF gauge in the car.
