97 Honda Civic HX Drivetrain

Hello,

I have a 1997 Civic Hx which I am going to swap out the entire drivetrain for a manual and d16y8

The car has 188000 miles with the d16y5 and a CVT transmission. It is currently my daily driver. It run perfectly and has no leaks, and no check engine light. The engine is totally stock.

I would like to sell the engine, trans, linkages, ECU, harness, ETC to one person. Or if someone would want the whole engine.

The purpose of this car is changing. I am going to use it for Autocross event, ice Racing, ETC. I have a parts car which has a d16y8 and a manual transmission. The plan is to swap the manual trans, the harness, the Ecu and either the whole engine or the head. I am giving a buyer a chance to check out the parts before I rip the car apart.

Wow a sixth gen CVT is a rare siting. How long have you been driving it? How much are you asking?

I have had it on the road since January. It was almost scrapped because the gas and brakes lines were rusted. It is a neat setup, during normal driving the RPMs never go over 2200. I flushed the CVT with Honda fluids.

I would be easy on the price for the right buyer. I am also going to remove the special trans mount that is welded to the frame.
