9G Civic Sedan HF rear lip install in non HF?

Anyone done it? I noticed the trunk lid is a completely different part number for non-Hybrid/non-HF models.

Thanks!

HX? In the states there never was an HF. There also wasn't a hybrid until 2003.

I suspect the trunk lid is likely the same except for some extra mounting holes.

HF is in USA for 2013. Had smooth wheels and the hybrid rear lip spoiler. The cost of the bare new trunk for those two is about 40% cheaper: https://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com...ing--trunk-lid vs https://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com...ing--trunk-lid so why is the hybrid /HF model bare trunk so much cheaper? I doubt it is aluminum.... And my main concern is will that lip fit on a regular sedan.

My apologies, I was thinking 9th gen was a different set of years - didn't remember it was 2012-2015.

I'm thinking it's very likely a direct swap, might need to drill some holes, but I can't be certain.

Yes, holes definitely. Just nervous about getting it, finding out the profile is slightly different, then shipping that monster back!
