Acura Vigor Better Mileage?

I try what I can with hypermiling like coasting out of gear as much as possible, and trying now to idle as much. I have changed the o2 sensor along with replace the stock airbox with a big K&N cone filter. My city mileage is just horrible. I think I might get about 90 miles to about 6 or 7 gallons. Its not good. What are some things I could try?

This is what is working best for my girlfriend in her 93 Vigor.
Run 93 Octane from BP. When she runs Wal-mart gas or lower grades her gas mileage drops.
Pump tire pressure up to 50 psi.
Nothing else we have tried made a difference.

Have you done the other tune up items like plugs and oil and such? That sounds like H2-ballpark bad

Is a lot of this sitting in traffic type stuff?

Yes, knowing your typical city drive would help.

In city driving, the brake pedal is your enemy. Minimizing its use ("driving without brakes" or DWB) would be the first technique I'd recommend focusing on. I trust you've looked through our list of hypermiling / ecodriving techniques.

Also, feedback is critical. You listed "other" as your fuel economy instrumentation for your car - what are you monitoring?
