Well, supposedly her water heater was set up today, but I don't think anyone mentioned the stove, so that probably still doesn't work.

Happy Xist day then!

Just got back from my good friend's birthday, also. We played Mario Kart, and I was the worst since I don't play video games so much these days. Ate some pizza and sampled scotch and whiskey. How did your day go? You share a bday with Peyton Manning... I just learned too. You don't share a bday with my daughter. Looking like tomorrow, or Saturday at the latest.

That's ok, because there can only be one Xist day.

I was born on the 23rd. I remember catching the part of Entertainment Tonight or something mentioning celebrities with birthdays on my birthday and some young eighties heartthrob had the same birthday, but I spent hours trying to find someone significant (to me) born on that day and failed.

Mom picked up the girls while I saw a client and they helped me set up my piņata, but Chase with two bags of candy didn't withstand two fierce little girls with a snow shovel handle.

When I sand, stain, and varnish the picnic table I need to fix up the piņata stick--after I drill a lanyard hole.

Mom had me put down a tarp to catch the candy, but none of my tarps were clean.

I need to order another box of translucent coroplast, buy another drywall bit, see if the boards I bought for the shed are still any good, cut the metal shelving unit supports in half, and screw them to the greenhouse.

It now leans several inches to the right.

I think that one of my mistakes was not leveling the garden box before I built a shed on it.

It is leaning downhill.

I don't know what I horribly missed, there have been millions and millions of structures built exclusively with right angles and they don't lean, but they are never just frames, are they?

The thin board you put in the back of IKEA furniture adds a great deal of rigidity.

Greenhouse plastic wouldn't have helped, but maybe coroplast would have.

By the time the sheets arrive it shouldn't get below freezing in a greenhouse for a long time.

Mom made dinner and the younger daughter helped while I tried to find a decent bookcase to try to organize Mom's room.

Sam's Club has something that looks decent, not that I am a member, but $210 for something made out of particle board sounds excessive, although there is a 1×2 in front of each shelf, so it looks fancier.

Then there is a laminate HON bookcase for $450. Mom bought bookcases from that company through a local store many years ago, but Dad was home when they were delivered, so he had them put in the bedroom.

Mom apparently had Dad and my brother swap them with the cheap bookcases in the living room.

The bookcases that store currently carries start at twice what Sam's Club asks for ones assembled at the factory in the US with components from the US.

After dinner the elder daughter asked to watch "Into the Spiderverse," which I enjoyed seeing again.

For the most part today went better than yesterday.

I need to be up at 07 for a telehealth visit with the VA and then I have five clients scheduled.

I need to start my notes early, progress report season is opening up soon.

I know that I say this four times a year, but for real this time!

If Sams is like Costco, you can have someone get you a gift card, and you don't need a membership to use it, and you can spend more than what's on the gift card. You can also add money to it.

Plumb, square and level was the standard we built to.

Parallelepipeds need diagonals to triangulate them, and/or gussets.
