Aero mods for 2008 civic coupe

Hello everyone!
Im new here and with just over a week of lurking I have already increased my gas mileage 27% over EPA using P&G and EO at stop lights! My car is a 2008 civic lx coupe, MT. I have a question or two regarding the typical aero mods.

First is about the kammback.

I have not really seen anyone on here who owns the 8th gen civic, maybe one or two. I dont think I read anywhere that they had put a kamm on theirs.
So my question is, is it worth putting a kammback on this current gen civic? I have 5 years of welding and fabricating professionally and have the materials to build a nice kammback out of .05" 6061 aluminum sheet and some 6061 flat bar as brackets.

I'm looking forward to working on my car and posting the results asap!

8th gen driver here

that would be pretty cool to see a kammback on one of the newer civics. super easy mod that you could do is grille block

Yes I do have plans to block the fog lights at the lower corners of the bumper, I have no use for those plastic parachutes! What have you done to your civ?

Setarip,I would suggest you search Aerodynamic Streamlining Template Part-C,find our template there and compare a good side photo of the CIVIC to that.
Then go to the 'Drag Reduction Potential' thread and get a sense of where the CIVIC is now,and where you'd like to go with it.The clock has run out here, store is closing,I'll catch up asap.

Ive decided against the kamm. Im going to most likely get moon covers, and grill blocking as well. right now Im working on making a cowl to cover up the wipers and then some belly work.

rear spoiler

Setarip,I got some Honda brochures the other day.I photo-enlarged them and did some comparisons.
The new Insight roofline falls pretty close to the Template, none of the coupes or sedans do.
The Tail of the Insight is approx. 130-mm higher, and 65-mm futher back than the sedans, including the Civic Hybrid. The little spoiler on the Hybrid is for the most part useless.I would recommend something more aggressive if you get to that point.
My friend just got a generic Civic sedan,he's getting 43-mpg on the interstate.

44-mpg

Set,that's great news! My friend in New Mexico is seeing 43-mpg with his.
For my friend who just purchased an '08 Prius the other day,we went to dinner and movie last night and her ave. so far is 46-mpg in combined driving.
So the Hondas are impressive, even 'naked'.Good for you!
