Jim.
I don't know my exact temps since my car is OBD1 and I can’t use a Scangauge to monitor my coolant temps. I use the OEM coolant temp display on the dash get a general idea of the temperature and installed an LED on the dash that lights when the cooling fan in running that lets me know when I need to adjust my grill block. I normally set the grill block so the fans kicks on occasionally.

Basjoos, what did you use for support under the nose of the coroplast on the front bumper originally? I'm pretty sure the coroplast will flex under wind pressure.
I was thinking of using the styrofoam crash protection that's comes under the front bumper cover on the outside.
But, either way, what did you use?

I tucked the front end of the coroplast up inside the bottom of the front bumper and secured it in place with screws and duct tape. Been up to 100mph and over 100,000 miles travelled in 2.5 years of driving without problems.

Sweet! I'm gonna try constructing it as soon as my red coroplast comes in. I still gotta post some pics of what I'm doing with the car. I've made a full underbody cover and copied some of the other things you've done. :P Best 60.08 mpg so far!

Very interesting thread basjoos!! This has been my favorite on EcoModder. Keep up the good ideas.

In case anyone is interested, here is a link to my under-body air smoothing panels, that are done so far.

Haha Wow! That's pretty extensive, man! It's like a work of art!
My car's not exactly a work of art...a lot of coroplast and screws get the job done right now.
I hope to be the first one to complete a boat tail on a Civic EG Coupe!

I've still gotta post pics of the coroplast underbody paneling I made, but I'm gonna put the car up on a lift for those.

Let me know what you guys think!

Do you have your own build thread yet? You should start one, so you can accurately document your work in an easy to find thread.

Great job on the modding, so far. I'd love to see more!
