Amara Automotive; Elecy

This lady who left a job in F1 to do this could use some love IMHO
4 wheels means 'It's a car in a lot of jurisdictions.
The visible height and a door is nice.

3 wheel designs:

"...stability...needs to be very low...no visibility..."

Make it lean IMHO..?

Let's say you hang a pendulum from your car's ceiling,
but with a hinge so it can only swing left and right.
Now all you need is something to 'watch' the, side force only, pendulum and adjust the suspension accordingly.

Mod the pendulum into say a simple air valve, with pneumatic cylinders above each spring and you're done. No processing delay>
No: "Oh sh!t! Whats fault code GFY8765-653-45354/76555-FU !???" etc.

If you want to go electric, CigaR007 can likely do the 'watching' part for you, for about $ 10.

All this speed sensor, steering angle sensor, every other sensor you can possibly think of, encrypted A.I. computer powerful enough to control a space mission, etc-etc is BS thought up to make it look difficult = lucrative!
IMHO

What I'm not getting:
All the "look how I made my 1 tone+ car more aero (if heavier...) so I (1 person) now get 0.00whatever more mpg! (on the highway only = 2% of the time)

Yet with a velomobile, thousands of 'MPG' at highway speeds is theoretically possible.

So its a case of:
People know that a pedestrian comes 2nd in a collision with a car.
So a small, light, low, pedestrian sized vehicle is instinctively (and correctly) perceived as less safe.
ie: 99.9999% of the population wants a vehicle that is sized/weighted to compete (or beat) the other vehicles on the road in a collision.
The ONLY way velo type micro cars will ever be accepted is if the world wakes up to discover that their car has mysteriously been replaced by a velo.
"But that's ok because so has everyone else's, so I stand as good a chance in a collision"
???

There are three parameters for a vehicle's crash safety. First we think of mass and inertia. But even more important can be the strength of the materials and geometry. This is why Smart cars have done so well in crash tests and open wheel racecars can take such forces. There is a major push for more bike lanes and restrictions on cars in urban areas. The international standard for minimum vehicle seat height is 19 inches. Speed limits and shoulder width help make for recommended bike routes. Still there is no substitute for being visible and predictable what ever you drive. Know and follow area traffic laws.

Mass and inertia win out in people's minds I think.
"Yes but this has a Carbon Fiber and Kevlar Tub/passenger compartment, like Formula 1 etc cars" just doesn't carry ...er... as much weight somehow...

That somehow is instinct I think.
We didn't co-evolve alongside Carbon-Kevlar anything...
Brain power, Laws of Physics etc are not big in the vast majority. Instinct rules.
Black was a safe colour if you didn't want to be seen and ominous when you were.
Bright Yellow (most visible) is for bananas and flowers.

If I have a 1 seater car; can I go in bike lanes?
Well yes but only if it has 3 wheels or less.
And god forbid it has an engine of any size! Yet you can barrel down a bike lane on an E-bike with the torque of a small car! Instinct again? Or just plain dumb??

In short; we're talking to 'The Hand'.
Here too (it seems?), not just in general.

Explain 'my threads'?

If the whole world is just like this, am I an exception to the whole world?

I hope you're not trying to make me feel badly about not putting Boron in my car. We agree on plasma actuators.

Er..?
No that is not at all my intention:
If you look at this thread for instance; (Except for 1 post from Grant. Thx)
I post
you post
I post
you post
etc

Just about no-one else posts...
And it's not just this thread. There are a lot of them like that if you think about. Shrug?
So I appreciate your posting. A compliment ..
And it makes you the exception to most everyone else here.
