Amazing barn find!

The world's most valuable barn find ever: 60 rare cars untouched for 50 years

If I stumbled across this I'd probably lose my mind!

That is a stunning find, most of those aren't to my personal taste, but that is a completely stunning collection...I would love to know the final tally after the hammer has dropped on all of them.

Yeah - saw that one recently. Love the Ferrari "newspaper rack".

I'll see your barn find, and raise you one "condo find"...

Did you also see the original, 1-owner Ferrari Daytona that was parked in a Toronto condo parking garage in since the 80's? Owner "didn't have time" for it.

Proof that some people have 1) way too much money; and 2) a really skewed sense of... oh, call it priorities, or maybe values? Sure, it'd be neat to have an old car like some of those to drive around, but to obsess about everything being original? Or think it's worth more because it was owned by King Fatso instead of Joe Blow?

I'd rather have something along the lines of the "Locost" (Locost - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ), where you have something with the spirit of the original, but with modern engines &c.

How did that not end up being stolen ???
It would have been so easy, because no one would even notice it being gone for days !

I read the title of this thread, and expected an all original economy car with 4,000 miles or something. This, though was like stumbling over a rock and finding it to be a 4 pound diamond.

I am imagining someone finding basjoos's car in a barn thirty years from now:

"an abandoned UFO was just found this morning, apparently UFO's are made from old cars confiscated from earth, as under this monstrosity of metal is a honda civic, the
extra-terrestrial owner must not like gas pedals, for it was converted to a hand throttle, very stange indeed."
