By my judgement, the spoiler returned the worst figures. The VGs were better, but I think that stock was making the best numbers.

That's actually the test order. The first run was at about 10:30 AM, so it was warming up a little by the time I tested the stock configuration at the end. There was about 20-25 minutes between runs, since I had to remove pieces and drive back out to the highway, then turn around so I'm going the same direction each trial.
I should have taken three videos of each, but I was using the same locations as the mudflap runs.

Got the Kammback done!
Set up against the template, the rear edge is just underneath it, but everything else matches up beautifully.

I too have a '97 Ford Aspire, 4 door, 5 speed manual. I appreciate the great work you have done to yours! When can we expect a video of the Kammback mpg's?
I would also like to know what gain in mpg you saw by just adding the air dam and partial undertray. I'm seeing about a 1.8 mpg improvement with my coroplast air dam.

I'll probably get an ABA video with the Kammback later in the season, or whenever I'll need to rework it some. As for the air dam/undertray pair, my guess is about 2 MPGs on the highway. Differing weather conditions has really thrown off any good measurements.
I also decided to do a side-mirror delete. I'll be sure to get some ABA video with that when I have time, since that's a really simple on/off swap.
I managed to find a single Civic VX rim, and it seems that they'll fit perfectly (except for the slightly larger center bore, but getting a ring on the hub solves that). Now I just need to track down 3 more, or find a set of 4 and have an extra full-size spare.

Accept my respect for your project, as well as your change in demeanor from previous. You know what I'm referring to.

After a couple lucky Craigslist finds and some trading, I picked up a set of 4 VX wheels, giving me a complete set plus a spare!
Every one of them has a different tire, and there are three different sizes, but I'll be selling them all and putting on some LRR tires, most likely Kumho EcoSolus HM KR22s in 175/70/13. The set of 4 was painted white, but that's pretty easy to remove. All but one of the center caps are still there.
I had to buy some wheels from a 2000 Civic SI for $350 and trade those with a guy an hour away for the VX wheels. To fit these on the Aspire, I ordered some hub rings, but I won't be able to get the tires until next month.

FINALLY got the VX rims installed! I decided to go ahead and get them on now instead of waiting to get LRR tires on them. This also eliminates a variable by keeping the same tires.
We'll see how the lighter rims help!
