Another Contest WIN! (w/ Electric Motorcycle Project)

Yea! Very excited, I just placed in the Instructables MAKE IT REAL CHALLENGE with instructions I put up teaching people how I built my own electric motorcycle.

This was a big contest with a grand-prize, ten first prizes, a Judges Prize, and a Green Judges Prize.

Guess which I won? That's right, the GREEN JUDGES PRIZE! That means the judges just plain LOVED my project AND gave it special recognition for recycling, energy conservation, and DIY eco-friendliness!

My prize will be an UP! 3D printer. I've never used 3D printers before, but I hope I can use it to make enclosures , stand-offs, and other parts for EV-related electronics and clean transportation projects. Heck, maybe even a 3D-printed stick-shift knob!

shift knobs with 2 bottons/switches. the bottom where the threads are you can use the same set up as the "universal" shift knobs use at the auto part stores. If you could get it done at about $50 I think you would have a winner.

Very cool Ben. You'll have to keep me informed about this 3d printer since I can model up lots of 3d stuff!
