Another newbie in Olympia, WA

Well, I heard about this from ajohnmeyer on gassavers. Lurked for like 5 minutes, now hope to contribute, occasionally.

FWIW I'm working with a nearby city (Lacey) to hold an "economy run" (looking for a catchy name) with thier energy fair this May 8th. Drivers of the course are ranked according to thier % over 2008 EPA ratings, also show off to the public how they do it.

Anyone want to drive?
Help run this event?

Yes welcome, I bet If I came to there in my vehicle, everyone would just turn and shake their heads, then pick up my vehicle "concert" style out of the event

Hey!!!!! Welcome to EM!
Good to have you here!

(man that's a lot of exclamation points, I think I might have broken that key)

And as for the MPG rally, I'm totally there.

Hey! I'm from Lacey! I commute to work on my electric bike. (cost only $250 too. So it's actually practical. Not like those $1000 types) Maybe I could be in it, but you may be wanting cars. I'm starting an Electric car conversion right now and probably won't be done by then.

sweet, We'll just surreptitiously hire a tow truck to bring your half-completed electric car to the rally anyway
