Question Anyone have a Sunfire?

My friend says he gets 30 mpg with his auto

Anyone have any experience with them.

They also come with these weird mid-wings.

(I think aero will get better if theyre removed)

You really need to wait in Phil Knox to chime in, but I believe aero would be better with the wing.
It appears to reduce the angle in the rear and might help flow reattach.

Sunfire

I don't have experience with Sunfire but drove home to Dallas area from Jackson Hole,Wyoming in a rented Cavalier and at extra-legal speed ( about 80-mph and I wasn't driving) the car got 39-mpg tank mpg.---------------- It was auto tranny,I think it was a 4-cyl but can't swear it.----------------- With respact to the wing/spoiler,what I'd do,is go to the Search EcoModder and look for Darin's" Project:making a permanent Metro Kammback extension."------- On page 2 of that thread we have an aerodynamic template with instructions for use.If you will scale the image of the Sunfire to fit under the template as directed,if the rear edge of the wing intersects the template line, keep it.If the wing is short of the line lengthen it straight back until it just intersects the line.If the wing is already above the line, then it is probably aggravating drag and you might want to lose it. P.S. this template can be used for all aero mods.If it doesn't work for you,I owe you a cup of coffee and a Dunkin Donut!
