Got our friends a new family car

Friends of mine recently had a baby. He is driving a '98 Mustang, and she drives a '97 2 door automatic Sunfire with over 200,000 miles on it. This past week I found an '04 Accord 4 door 4 cylinder 5 speed with 63,000 miles on it for $8000 (a STEAL) in really good condition. Interior looks amazing, and the exterior has usual wear for a 5 year old car. I wasn't sure what to expect for mileage. They'll be replacing the Sunfire, so I looked it up on fueleconomy.gov. The Accord, while having a 2.4l vs the 2.2l in the Sunfire, way more interior room, more cargo room, and really just a nicer vehicle still beats out the Sunfire in the mileage department. Not by much, but still beats it. So, that sounds like a win all around to me. They came over to our house Friday night and picked up the car on Saturday morning. She is a bit of a lead foot, so we'll see what she gets for mileage with it.

That Honda will also be more reliable than the Sunfire. Good find!
