The shark fins are multi band: am fm cell ( 5 different bands there) sattelite. Mine has 2 coaxes and one shielded power pair

Even though XM radio is AFAIK not available in my country, I used to see shark fin antennas being fitted to cars mostly for aesthetics, and their aerodynamic profile didn't seem to be so detrimental at all.

I usually see only much larger dogs actually sticking their heads outside the window, and presumably they have a much greater aerodynamic impact. Unless it's a Whippet.

Poorly. Either crushed by the airbag or needing to be scraped off the nearest vertical surface. Up side, those people tend to not have that style accident

There are restraint systems meant for dogs, yet sometimes being quick enough to grab the dog before it hits the dashboard is the only thing to do...
