Had a great time meeting everyone and helping as much as I could, 3 of us went to my house to use my drill to finish installing the rear skirts, wheel covers and front air dam. Hope everyone, especially those who drove 3+ hours to get here make it home safely and the mods do their job. Tired but I had a good time with the young folks.

regards
mech

I'm glad everyone made it home safe! I look forward to seeing the photos. BTW, DD, I was thinking that when we do this again, you should have the camera facing rearward too?

BD, thanks for the text letting me know you made it home as well as everyone else.

I recommend we do it more often than once every 64 years

I had a great time with all of y'all! It was truly a pleasure being in the company of fellow mileage nuts I'm happy for that the mods for DD's car resulted in a 5.9% increase @ 55 mph! Although the air temperatures were cooler when he was heading home, so they may have had a greater effect if ABA testing is done Really appreciuate Mech for letting us crash his garage!

Mech & Zach, y'all are welcome for the texts. I surely did not want anyone worrying and seeing if I ever reply back on here to know for certain

Now that we know what to expect and know what we want to change, is there a time that everyone would want to meet again, perhaps later in the year?

It was fun ecodriving with the group. I hit 58 mpg on the ride to Wawa (slight uphill and into the wind), in the opposite direction from the group ride to the park. The average speed to the park was about 10mph lower but the Mirage mpg gauge read 72.6 mpg when we got to the park. That's very close to 3dplane's mileage in his Mirage which is #6in the gas cars right now.

My average after over 2k miles is right at 53.9, but I generally drive at a higher average speed, sometimes close to 70 mph and without a drafting partner and the engine running 3500 rpm mileage suffers seriously with no windbreak.

I wish I could've stayed longer as well! Gotta go make that money though... the paperwork I had to have signed is worth about $7k... so yeah. I wasn't gonna miss that.

The BIGGEST thing I took away from our meet was that driving THAT slow can have massive effects! I need to graph out my mpg/mph once I get to a point where I'm not changing the car every few weeks.
