Another car the states will never see ... Thats actually a pretty nice looking car, even in the 4 door version, the 2 door is beautiful. Maybe we'll get lucky and either Mazda or Ford will bring a version of that over to the states.

You my friend are in luck.
Ford confirms Fiesta hatchback for the U.S. - Autoblog
The Ford Fiesta is the twin of the Mazda2 is the same way that the Mazda3 is the twin of the Euro Focus.

Miracles happen at $4/gallon. Lets hope Ford is smart enough to keep its nose out of the superb Mazda engineering so it maintains its trim weight. I'm going to be holding out for the 1.4 turbo engine.

Wow glad to see this however 2010, im afreaid will most likly be a day late and a dollar short.. seems the industry is way to cumbersome.

Well I mean that 1.4 liter engine powering the tiny lite car really need a huge hole in the front so the ENTIRE radiator can get air. It makes sense you know.

40mpg auto....I love my Honda.

Just out of interest can you guys in the US import cars from europe and Japan or is there
rules and regs to stop that.
