Nice ad. Price is a little out there, though.
For a second I thought it was an ad for the one and only Nissan/Datsun I've ever owned:
Mine was a sweet, low-miles first generation Sentra with both "Nissan" and "Datsun" badges on the tailgate. I owned it less than a year in university and remember it fondly as a softly sprung, pleasant little car to drive. 5-speed... with a 2 foot long shifter. It had a calming effect -- definitely did not encourage sporting driving.
Amazingly, at its introduction it was apparently (if you believe wikipedia) the most fuel-efficient car available in the US, according to the EPA:
43 MPG (US) city (5.5 L/100 km), 58 highway (4.1), 48 combined (4.9). (Though that's likely the rating for the 2-door sedan, not the porky wagon with a suspiciously unaerodynamic looking angle to its rear tailgate.)
That's not surprising, considering the 67 hp 1.5L 4-cyl engine, 5-speed manual transmission, and light weight (~1875 lbs / 850 kg).
Anyway, that's enough OT!
Back on topic: a buddy of mine in high school drove around in one of those old Stanza wagons, but I think it went by a different name in Canada... will have to look that up.
