One of the tires on my HCH1 leaked when I got it, but it turned out to just be leaking around the bead seal. Nothing wrong with the tires, maybe the rim had some gunk on it when they put the tire on that prevented a good seal.

Have tire repaired by a tire professional within 3 days or 100 miles, whichever comes first.
LOOOOL

It's been at least 3000 miles since that happened.

I can take it to get checked out. But to me it cost $50 Canadian minus whatever value I think a Civic VX rim has (bought 4 VX rims + these tires for $200), so maybe the real solution is to accelerate my Insight Rims + RE92s timetable.

BOOM even better tank. 3.49 l/100km or 67 mpg, but I'm told because my tires are larger than factory it's more like 69 mpg. A hair over 1100 kilometers. I try to buy ethanol free gas when possible. The place I live in Canada is quite close to a station that sells 87 octane e-free, but down here in the USA the closest place is much further and it sells 90 octane e-free. So I went with the 90 octane on this trip and well I don't know, the numbers speak for themselves I guess.

I finally got my EFAS switch working, and tried some EOC with it today. This next tank will hopefully be even better. There's a point on my commute home where if I hit about 60 kmh then I'll coast down and up and down 2 big hills and into the subdivision and onto my street, about 2 miles total, without using any gas. Before if I left it in 5th I'd use no gas but I would have to turn the engine back on just before I got to the subdivision, and sometimes I'd have to use gas to get up the very top of the bigger hill.

Sweet! I bet the kill switch makes a good difference, too. If the gauge is to be trusted, I've gained 10-20% by simply killing the engine on my coasts on daily drives (~3.5 miles at a time with 3-5 stops each time, so plenty of "up to speed, then coast to the stop" sections). I haven't been able to get to my 3rd ever tank fill to see the official results, so I hope the gauge isn't giving me false hopes. Either way, I know there's improvement, so definitely keep us up to date on the improvements you see as well!

BTW, what tires you rolling with? I'm stuck with some Continental Touring CS4 185/60r14's myself (but I keep them at 55-60psi... lol)
