Also, I LOLed at "death discs." These people have apparently never seen coroplast before.
haha you looked it up? Funny stuff right? At first I was kind of offended and second guessed myself on my methodology... however now when I look at all the comments and the stuff people said it just makes me laugh like no tomorrow! That rundmcarlson guy was super cool. Came to my aid and went down swinging. We ended up messaging privately and turns out he is working on his own Volt rear fender skirts. Had CAD files and everything! I guess not everyone is so closed minded on the internet. I'm really glad I found this site!

I have 2 nearby picky neighbors in a tift because one fills the whole front yard (all 8’ of it) with flowers and pots and whatnot, which resulted in the town getting a complaint (assumably from the other neighbor) cause pots can’t be a certain distance from road or lot line.
Other neighbor has a complaint against them now because their “hedge plants” are too close as well and it goes back and forth.

Nothing like mental mudgets fighting a war and what’s worse is that the town loves and encourages neighbors to behave that way and enjoys sending the white van out to provide guidance on how they should alter their landscaping, if the town beautification person could spend their entire week doing this they would be in 7th heaven.

They gave up on me, I have only grass now and have been forced to apply roundup around my foundation and pull any vegetation near the foundation because of complaints that weeds were growing between my step and sidewalk, I removed my one bush and keep everything mowed down, since obviously it’s real ecological to apply roundup because some might see a strand of 6” + vegistation and that would be very disturbing.
That is absurd. I'm sorry to hear. People can be so petty about the dumbest things and I think it is because they probably have nothing better to be doing other than complaining about someone else. Just let people do what makes them happy so long as it is not hurting someone else is my motto.

Um, since the Volt is focused on economy, wouldn't increasing its economy be a performance upgrade?

Or is that forum just filled with wannabe riceboys who want their moms' backup cars to be the fastest things in their high school parking lots?

You bring up a great point. I had not thought about it in that way but it is definitely an upgrade in that sense for sure!

The Volt and Prius subreddits have some decent posts and comments, but there's a lot of less decent content to sift through. Dedicated forums like PriusChat and GM-Volt are much better places to spend your time. The best thing about Reddit is that one account lets you post on just about any topic; I don't want to have to make an account on a different forum every time I need some help or want to show off how I fixed something.

I've found that modifications have to be pretty aesthetically pleasing to win non modders over.

Perhaps that was their true issue.
