Bio Trike

Just stumbled across this today. Home Isn't this what all of us want for most of our commuting? I think he took all his ideas from our forum.

kewl, but too expensive for me - i'd rather have a new insight or prius if FE was my prime concern. Very cool, though.

mpg

I think it said they've achieved 75mpg and final production is slated to be 125 mpg.

This thread is the reason I found (and joined) this forum. I wanted to let people know that I'm considering purchasing one of these bike/cars in the very near future (next week or so). I'll be visiting the factory personally to see it in action and hand over cash (if need be!)

I think this type of vehicle, if properly executed, could be a very good thing. It has the range that anyone would be happy with along with the Green cred to keep the "hippies" relaxed with hacky sacks. According to the designer I've been speaking the performance will be first class based on the gobs of power from a full 9" DC motor and a >1600lb curb weight. My 2400lb RX7 w/ 9" and 144V is beyond "peppy" and I can only imagine what it would feel like minus 800lbs.

I'll make sure to get as many detailed pictures and driving impressions as I can for this group. I'm really looking forward to making this a part of my garage soon.
