Sadly, I am running into a compatibility issue between the output of the standalone DVR and Dashcam display input.

I have tested everything connected, and while I am able to get a nice split screen combined camera feed through the DVR as verified on the cheap RCA input monitors, the pinout of the 2.5mm connector going into the dashcam mirror is apparently non-standard.

Just from my testing of the DVR side, it appears that the 4-pin connector does not provide continuity to the tip pin of the 2.5mm connector - which it would seem is the 5V supply coming from the dashcam mirror to the AHD camera that was provided with it.

I still think it can all work, but I have to figure out what the dashcam mirror expects on the inputs still. I have given up on it for the day though.

So now, I am waiting on a different pigtail that does have all 4 connections. This kind of crap just pisses me off as a manufacturer is being cheap by not including 2 cents worth of extra wire because they think nobody will notice...

Found what I believe to be the proper pinouts at least.

Just taped on for the photos, but a bit more conspicuous. Happy with the design though.

I still need to clean them up and finish them before permanently mounting.

Mouse trap, lol.

What 3D printing setup are you using?

I lacked a banana for comparison . .

I farmed it out to Catz Design via Treatstock. It is ABS with 20% fill. I have since ordered this delta printer. Looking forward to using it!

Looks good for our purposes, with a reasonable print size. What other parts for the car are you planning to print?

I don't really have much additional planned for the car aside from organizer type stuff, but I have seen 3D printed wheel inserts to mimic a disc. I may try that one out if I really figure out what I am doing with it.

I think I can kind of picture what this might look like, but do you have a photograph?

I do not. Honestly, not sure it is worth the effort either based on my disc test results.
