Brians S10 EV

A local guy I know, Brian, has been working on an S10 to electric conversion.

This is the second truck he has electrified.

Brian Mathis' 1994 Chevrolet S-10

He just e-mailed me saying that he added power to the bed tilt. The batteries are installed under the bed, and you flip up the bed to access them.

Now, the bed can be tilted up by power instead of by hand.

Brian also has a video on "HHO Generation" on his YouTube channel that some of you might be interested in.

Here's a couple more photos of the S-10.

Brian was NOT able to find room for the last 2 batteries in the frame or under the hood. (It's 144V with 6v batts, so 24 batteries total!)

Instead, he mounted the last two on TOP of the others, and cut a hole in the tilt bed so that the bed sets down with the two batteries poking through it!

It's pretty funny because it looks like two batteries are powering the whole truck!
