Phil...
I don't know what to say... I tend to view these things differently than most, and I want to express my empathy here, without being offensive in any way.
Suffice it to say, I have had similar experiences, and I feel like we can come away from these events in life stronger, both in spirit and in mind.

I feel deeply for you Phil.
I've been knocked off my bicycle by cars 4 times, and am very lucky to be alive. It's never happen on my MC, but I feel much empathy anytime anything larger than a 2 wheeler collides with one. We always lose.
My thoughts are with you.
