Budding Ecomodder from NC

Hi all! I recently had a new engine put in my car resulting in a mileage drop from 18mpg to 13mpg. Neither of these are good figures but I drive a 2001 Chevy Blazer with 4x4 and a 4.3 liter V6. I stumbled across this forum while reading about hyper-milling techniques and fell in love. I will be keeping a detailed log of everything I do to improve my fuel economy as well as some math to see if my fuel savings outweigh what I have spent on modifications etc.. Thanks for making this great community exist!

Welcome!

At work the maintenance pickup I drive has that V6 aboard and it is an absolute pig. PIG. It's just an S-10 and I confess it's mostly city miles that I drive, but a tank in the mid-teens is typical. You have your work cut out for you.
