Here is what it looks like in my car.
The box can be hidden under the dash, but I like to see it so I have it out.

Above picture is the system for "whatever you want to call it".
I call it "the stupid cruise control".
Sometimes I call it ACC or Speederaser.

It makes your factory cruise control smarter.

It connects your factory cruise talking via wire to a cruise-adapter.
(thats what i call the box, cruise-adapter).

The cruise-adapter talks via bluetooth to a cellphone running "Zombie Speed Limits", available free on Android market. Thus the box can get installed out of view under the dash if you want, but I think it looks cool...

Above is the cruise-adaptor guts. Its an off the shelf bluetooth board from tinysine.com The schematic and parts list is on the other thread somewhere on ecomodder.

This shows the wire from your factor cruise to the cruise-adapter.

Above shows speed limits from wikispeedia.org.
Get the app described above and it will make sense to you what is happening.

Above is the start of a vision system. It needs work but is based on this algorithm.

It will change your speed to keep you from hitting the car ahead.
You can play with it in this non-free app.

Above is the settings screen. You set the MPH-over you want and SYNC to get/share speed limits with wikispeedia.org.

Above shows the resistor you need for your car. Its sticking out the tape.
Look at the other thread for a schematic. Build it yourself.

It makes your factory cruise control aware of the speed limits.
