AN Sparks RV trailer

Nothing to see here,.......... and we're walking and we're walking..............
Side - elevation fish and bird geometry comprehension must be an intellectual impossibility for trailer designers, while somehow they partially understand plan-view.
Elephant in the living room ( gap ).
Skyscraper fenders.
Stratospheric price tag.

Went camping last week and most people in the group had enormous 5th wheel campers and F350 to pull it. They had generators to run heaters.

Something like this

I slept in a hammock and sleeping bag. Best sleep of my life.

I don't know how much they cost, but it was mostly (all?) blue collar folks in their 50s to early 60s. One guy ran floor washers for a living.

The majority of people become wealthier as they age since they build up assets. That, and the poor spend like they are wealthy, and the wealthy spend like they are poor. My grandfather was an attorney and would forget he had $6k in each pocket of his coat. He'd spend a few years contemplating his next vehicle purchase and wound up with a Chevy Colorado as his last. It was a modest purchase given his means. He also lived in a small (by US standards) 2 bedroom 2 bath house.

There's some balance between spending every penny one has on frivolous stuff, and dying not having enjoyed that which you've spent a lifetime to acquire. I always told grandfather it was his money, so spend it on what makes him happy.

For someone who would eventually have an actual need for a trailer and use it as a full-time living quarters, could make sense. Some of those 5th-wheels are actually more comfortable than most apartments in my country for instance.

More of a joke. But yeah i completely understand that. Seems like my life from 14-25 was money and save money. Now its more of finding balance. I'm thinking my $450 sleeping bag and klr 650 might turn into one of those one day. lol

(Actual definition: The exact amount of money required in order to tell an individual or organization to go **** themselves without facing repercussions.)

Eh, I've always felt one should convey f u when appropriate regardless of ability to withstand blowback. Freedom is more important than comfort or safety.

Having a boatload (or in this case a trailer-full) of money does make it easier.

Of course, but nobody is going to make a movie about the rich person who demanded freedom. There's a reason Mel Gibson saying f u with his head on the chopping block is inspiring.

BTW- I'm all for making oneself anti-fragile in various ways; financially, physically, politically, socially, etc. It simply isn't a requirement to demand liberty.

My point is that f u is a character trait more so than any particular level of wealth obtainment. I probably had more of that trait when I had nothing than I do now.

Like everything, the f u trait is only as good as the causes for which they are exercised.
