Air up the tires and DO NOT IDLE IT even to "warm it up". Don't exceed 55mph or even 50mph if it doesn't cause a mutiny.
I think you guys might be missing the big picture here- one of the biggest things dragging fe down is that generator (it's using the same fuel as the drive engine right? What is fe on trips with 0 generator usage?); if you can get away with it, don't use it. Call ahead, know where you're going, and pull into places that have electric hookups. I believe the figure for the cost of generator electricity vs wall outlet electricity is 5x more!
I wouldn't be ripping apart a new big dollar rig and pumping even more money in it. I would consider deleting the lumps and bumps off the roof, though, if they were expendable.

Ah, but Frank, you are joining people in being sensible. If I read it right, the OP is just asking for our creativity in what we would do. From their comment about no card board and for a professional organization, I doubt they will be Able to seriously consider it.
Or are there actual intentions on ecomodding it?

Yes that's what OP's request was... so dream on! I'm talking about things they can DO NOW. Easily. Cheaply. By anyone.

Fender skirts, fairings in front and back of tires, belly pan, boat tail...chop the top.

Chopping the top would be the number one thing, wouldn't it?
It would be pretty straight forward too with those square corners.
No lines to match back up, just chop and reassemble.

If you only want to aero mod it I found a good example and even a how to manual.

I'd put a bubble dome on top for aero... perhaps fairings?
One interesting way to ecomod is to attack the interior. Lighten it (carbon fiber furniture and chairs?), replace lighting fixtures with LEDs, and switch over to an inverter-type AC unit. Those monsters have a lot of insulation and carpentry inside that's just dead weight on the go...

The electrical hookup is a great idea.
If you make a boat tail it could also hold CNG tanks. Two birds with one stone?
