Car forum supports MPG thread.....
I have been posting at an Infiniti/nissan forum (freshalloy.com) for about 5 yrs. Mainly in the Infiniti Q45 forum. It is common knowledge over there that I am the mpg geek.
I had posted several casual mpg threads over the yrs but nothing comprehensive.
I was promoted to a Super Moderator for the Q45 forum. Then in the sping, the administrator asked me to put together a comprehensive thread on my MPG efforts.
I did and they made it a sticky!
Here is the thread:
Improving your gas mileage: 02 Q45 MPG - FreshAlloy.com Forums
(as you can see, I linked my ecomodder thread!)
Anybody else have luck breaking thru the other forums?

The diesel pickup guys are happily hard-headed.
A lawsuit in Oregon quotes the plaintiff as, ". . represent[s] his "redneck" lifestyle, where family comes first, and people enjoy hunting, fishing and driving four-wheel-drive trucks through the mud.
A local obituary this morning cited the deceased's love of wood-cutting, fishing and mudding.
Plenty of sub-forums on performance & repairs, a few on alternative fuels. No specific one on economy.
That said there are some ding-dang smart guys when it comes to making things last over 6-700,000 miles while working the truck for a living. And some quite conversant on FE. But not in the majority. FE is sort of an algorean proposition, like wearing a beanie cap with a spinner. Mouthbreathers.
But plenty of threads to this end. No one is coming out of the closet, per se, but it's funny to note the fast rate of replies and views per day in re this subject.

Darrell, this is halarious!!!!!!
your the Rodney Dangerfield of rolloing boxes!
Darrell's homeboy forum post.......he likes to set the stage!!!
"I know when most of you think performance, you're thinking about going fast. But let's face it, our 108 hp, FWD, aerodynamic barn doors are about the poorest racers ever made.
99 wheel horsepower coupled to FWD means anyone with 90 hp and RWD will beat you. Anyone with 100 hp and FWD will beat you. Anyone with AWD will beat you. Darn near anybody driving anything will beat you. The only races you'll win are when the other guy is laughing so hard, you get a hole shot on him.
Bolt on a thousand bucks of headers, intake, and exhaust, and 99% of today's bone stock cars will still beat you, including every family sedan, taxicab, minivan, and SUV out there."

Fiesta Faction: The Ford Fiesta Enthusiast Community Forum has a subforum titled "the eco Fiesta driver". It was there before I joined. I post regularly, but I try not to scare folks off with discussing advanced hypermiling techniques.
