I have been driving EVs only since about October of 2014. And it has been great!

I'm going to have to put gas in the Metro eventually, but the FUV is charging right now. A 50% charge is about $1 on my electric bill.
Any luck with this? I just got a $100 camera that does video. A short walk-around with one of those would get the raw data you need.
The bleeding edge for 3D scanning is Gaussian Splats, but I'm not sure whee that fits in the work flow.

Gaussian splatting
Gaussian splatting is a volume rendering technique that deals with the direct rendering of volume data without converting the data into surface or line primitives. The technique was originally introduced as splatting by Lee Westover in the early 1990s. This technique was revitalized and exploded in popularity in 2023, when a research group from Inria proposed the seminal 3D Gaussian splatting that offers real-time radiance field rendering Continued in Wikipedia

It may be as simple as dropping a single picture onto
poly.cam/tools/3d-model-generator. You might try a high-angle front and rear 3/4 view and compare the two?
