If one could be made for the Metro and it actually worked, I could sell them like hot cakes!

I don't get the theory on this one at all, but I notice that there is a cam-grinding shop over in Ontario that offers XFI cams, or their own custom grind with a ten degree advance on the drive. I'd like to rebuild my coupe for maximum economy - any comments? What about a matching computer?

I tried to send an email to the guy and it was denied due to full mail box.

Cool idea it reminds me of the HotRocker see:
Internet Archive Wayback Machine

Hot rocker i believe disappeared but if I could run the variable cam advance and the variable rocker ratio on my pushrod 3800 that would be beast.

my distributer has mechanical advance, the advance is to slow though, might get it recurved...

having this on a cam would be the best as far as improving your old car would go, i would imagine at LEAST 10% increase in FE

Spark gets advanced to compensate for the time required for burning. Advancing a cam changes many things the wrong way. Variable Valve Timing does it right. The Fiat electronic spill valve system is currently the best available.
